Was Ke$ha sued by former management? DAS Communications, in fact has filed a lawsuit for $14 million claiming that she is a one-hit wonder! Sound ridiculous? We’ve got the details on this lawsuit and Ke$ha’s counter-suit below!
Ke$ha’s former management company DAS Communications, has thrown a big fat lawsuit at the pop star for a whopping $14 million and they want her to pony up the cash before she no longer has the money.
The NY Post is reporting that Manhattan Supreme Court has a hold of these papers filed and the claims are definitely interesting to say the least.
According to the papers, the management company claims that the pop star “is a very young and inexperienced artist whose ‘star’ may not continue to rise. Although she has made an incredible amount of money in a very short period of time, in large part due to DAS’ efforts on her behalf, she could just as easily lose money if not properly guided.” In other words, this particular company is claiming that they were very responsible for Ke$ha’s success. It sure seems contradictory when they seem to be slamming an artist they claim to have represented.
So where is DAS getting the idea that Ke$ha’s star is about to fall? Could they be relying on tweets from music networks like MTV? MTV recently tweeted, “Ke$ha’s gone way past her 15 minutes of fame, wouldn’t you say?”
As far as Ke$ha is concerned, she’s not letting this lawsuit get the best to her as she has filed a counter-suit! Her lawyer lawyer Charles Ortner released the following statement, “This lawsuit seeks to require her to pay [DAS head David Sonenberg] commissions on her RCA/Jive record deal that he had nothing to do with, long after she terminated him in writing.”

Isn’t it funny how once a celebrity gets famous these lawsuits start popping up? I am sure Ke$ha being sued by former management DAS Communications doesn’t scare her one bit.
