After taking a look at the actual design of the H.A.M. single cover, I knew that the Kanye West and Jay-Z track was going to be interesting to say the least. And now we have the details on what the title means and the song so that you can peep a listen right here!
The song is off of Watch The Throne EP is set to drop in March sometime. The entire album will combine both Jay-Z and Kanye West as they attempt to take over the hip-hop music scene with the talent. The title H.A.M. means “hard as a motherf*&^#$”. Nice, right?
So is this single their strongest? Usually the first single is a good indication of how the forthcoming album will sound and is this their best work? I have a hard time believing that.

When I first listened to the track, I found it hard to listen to it all the way through. The song is a tad weak considering the talent and their overuse of the n word. I certainly thought that Kanye’s rhyme could have been better, but Jay-Z’s was clever per usual. I’m not sure if these two are trying too hard to be “hard” but something just doesn’t sit right with me.
