Have you seen the Soundgarden Conan O’ Brien performance videos? Yes, it has been a long time coming, but Soundgarden is back and what better place to play some new jams than on Conan’s new show on TBS?! Chris Cornell and company took the stage to play two songs Black Rain and Hunted Down. And, we’ve got them here in case you missed it! See photos here as well!
The Soundgarden Conan performance videos, Black Rain and Hunted Down are hot! Not only is Chris Cornell and company back, but they are sounding as fabulous as ever. For the first time in 13 years, the band rocked out some jams on television.
The band started out with playing their new single titled Black Rain. And what would a performance be without digging up a new jam to take us all back to where it all started. From their classic EP Screaming Life, Soundgarden played Hunted Down.
For those of you fans, you will be happy to know that they still sound the same, with their new song sounding very similar to the music of their past. I just think it is fabulous to see the band come back together after whatever disputes they were suffering through internally. And for all you hardcore fans, they are out on the road for a reunion tour that is sure to take you back to the successful Black Hole Sun days.
For those of you craving some new Soundgarden, come November 26th, 2010 you will be able to snag up a 7″ that will include two tracks that have not been released before. The Telephantasm” and “Gun” will be the titles of the tracks.

The reason “Black Rain” sounds like classic Soundgarden is that it was written in 1991.
