It is the Lee DeWyze Good Morning America concert series performance that are making Idol fans realize how much they miss the show and all the hot performances. But it was not just Lee that took the stage. Along with Crystal Bowersox, her new pearly whites and the other Idol top 10 performers.
After Crystal sang Piece of My Heart, a Janis Joplin song, Lee took the stage to perform Treat Her Life a Lady by the Cornelius Brothers. When he was asked about his life after winning American Idol Lee explained that it is “important to remember where you came from”. And of course, he was able to squeeze in there that his upcoming album is set to release this October.
American Idol Kris Allen recently threw in a few words of advice Lee’s way telling MTV “I feel like I learned so much during that recording process, but yet I still didn’t know a lot. I would just say, ask a lot of questions, especially of those producers and all of those people that you work with. Just ask a lot of questions and figure out stuff, because I feel like I would just sit there and be like, ‘OK, you’re awesome.’ You know? Be humble, but get involved too.”
