Will.i.am and Slash teamed up to remix a classic that was reportedly written by Pete Townshend of ‘The Who’ around 1965. It will make its premiere during the Super Bowl on Sunday, February 7, 2010. Find out more below.

Who else out there is stoked out of their friggin mind about this?!

This next paragraph is going to seem a little far-fetched (and it is), but wouldn’t it be sweet if this collaboration leads to something more between these two amazing artists. Perhaps they could start their own band, combining the names of the group that each is most commonly associated with. They could call it ‘Guns N’ Peas’. It would make sense after all, wouldn’t it? Let Axl Rose have his band name! This one is way cooler. Plus peas are so much more nutritious than roses, and they taste better too.

I warned you that it was a bit far-fetched, and you didn’t believe me… did you?

The reason behind the music is to raise money for the relief effort going on in Haiti right now. Any proceeds will be donated to that very worthy cause, so if you like the remix I encourage you to purchase it on iTunes during or after the big game.

What’s still unclear is in what form the track will air. It could debut during a break from the action, a commercial ad, or at the halftime performance, according to Rolling Stone.

Now it is time for me to reveal which ‘Who’ song was selected to undergo the transformation… Drum roll please… ‘My Generation’!

Well, there you have it. Please enjoy the Will.i.am and Slash pictures along with video below. Thoughts? Share those in our comment section. Thanks for reading guys, gute nacht.
