The Grammy nominations 2010 list has been announced. Beyonce leads the field with 10 nods, followed by Taylor Swift with eight nods. The 52nd annual Grammy Awards will take place on Jan. 31 at the Staples Center in L.A. Keep reading to find out all of the nominees.

Following the two music superstars who lead the nomination field are Black Eyed Peas, Maxwell, and Kanye West who have each received six nods. Receiving five nominations each are Jay-Z, Lady Gaga, and David Guetta. Four nods go to Colbie Caillat, Michael Giacchino, Kings of Leon, John Newton, RedOne, Bruce Springsteen, T-Pain, and Keith Urban.

Beyonce and Taylor Swift will be competing against each other in four categories including Album of the Year, for ‘I Am … Sasha Fierce and Fearless, respectively. Additional nominees in the category are: Black Eyed Peas’ ‘The E.N.D.’ Lady Gaga ‘The Fame,’ and Dave Matthews Band ‘Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King.’

For the second year in a row, the announcements were made on live television on CBS in an hour-long presentation entitled, The Grammy Nominations Concert hosted by LL Cool J, which took place before a live audience. There were several musical performances. Black Eyed Peas, performed their smash hit I’ve Got A Feeling. Maxwell performed The Lady in My Life from the album Thriller in tribute to Michael Jackson. Nick Jonas of Jonas Brothers, and his band The Administration performed the title track of his forthcoming album Who I Am. It was his first televised performance with his new band, which is a side project. The host LL Cool J performed an opening rap.

Presenters included Katy Perry, George Lopez, Lil Wayne, Linkin Park, and announcing album of the year, music legends Smokey Robinson and Ringo Starr on stage together.
