For Bon Jovi ‘The Circle’ album tour is part of a “continuum,” according to the rock star. The albums cover pictures the band walking down a tunnel and into a white light. Find out more about the record, and the complete list of tour dates below.
When struggling to come up with a name for his bands most recent album, Bon Jovi’s friend suggested “The Circle”. The rock idol liked it, and the rest is history. The record dropped on November 18, and its first single is titled “We Weren’t Born To Follow”. Now the rock legends are about to launch a tour to promote their eleventh album.
The group has been together twenty-five years, and has reached equally impressive milestones – 120 million records sold, seven #1 singles, and have played to over 30+ million fans in fifty countries.
The world tour following their last album “Lost Highway” was among the best selling in 2008.
Don’t think that Bon Jovi isn’t appreciative of his success either. He is recognized as a philanthropist, and is a representative for Habitat for Humanity, which is a charity that builds affordable, low-income housing.
He also has a good sense of humor about the vast amount of time he spends away from home while on the road. He described his feelings about touring to MSN Music in a recent interview, saying:
“Yeah, it scares me a little bit. But then I find myself back in a hotel room somewhere and think, well, this is sort of what I do for a living.”

As much as I love Jon and have been an avid fan from I was 7 years old back in 1986, I think the new album is slightly depressing and focuses on the age of the guys and life moving on. The same themes keep popping up in all the albums -not conforming to rules and laws, be who you wanna be,poverty etc, but singing about all that once is enough. I must admit I’m in love with Jon and have been for years - but not so much his music. I go to concerts to stare at him for 2 hrs.I’m a married woman with 2 kids - don’t get scared Jon, but you come a close third!
