This comes as Brown’s first appearance on a major magazine cover since the Rihanna mishap. It works out well too, because a lot like the dancer/singer is trying to resurrect his career from the dead, Vibe is trying to resurrect their publication from the same place.

Under new ownership the former voice of hip-hop culture has decided to split the cover between Chris Brown and Drake. Who do you think will garner more attention?

Back in June the magazine folded faster than a Texas Hold ‘Em player who drew a seven and a two. So the other question is, will this be enough to reignite interest in the magazine? My answer is probably not. Here’s the reasoning behind my answer. Magazines and newspapers are an archaic outlet for media. I mean who wants to needlessly waste paper, and pay four bucks a pop for something that involves hazards such as paper cuts, when they can read the same information online for free? That’s just my opinion on the matter though.

Brown’s new album “Graffiti” is set for release on Dec. 15, and Rihanna’s “Rated R” album is due out November 23. Whose album do you think will do better in sales?
