“Rebirth” is an attempt by the rap mogul to transition over to the Rock genre. What’s really interesting about the LP is that Wayne says that he played guitar on 80 percent of the tracks. What is even more interesting is that only 20 percent of the tracks are listenable.

Before you get your panties in a bunch, I’m just kidding. The man has a gift as a rapper, so perhaps he might as a guitar player as well. I guess we’ll just have to wait and find out. That is of course if he ever decides to release it.

The likely hood is that the Cash Money leader will be behind bars upon the albums release. That’s because just recently he plead guilty to felony gun possession, which resulted in a year prison sentence.

He revealed his thoughts about the foray into rock in a recent interview with MTV, saying that:

“I don’t want people to think I’m trying to do something I can’t do. Don’t think you’re going to put on the album and hear me screaming and singing.”

The funny thing is that this man is so hot right now, he probably could release a double record of him just screaming random, inaudible lyrics into a background of static, and it would still go double platinum. However, I’m very glad that’s not the case.

When was it originally supposed to be released? December 15, but that has fallen to the wayside. Now who knows when we’ll get to hear it?
