The music video for the highly anticipated Lady Gaga, Beyonce “Video Phone” collaboration was confirmed to have taken place on Oct 7. According to reports, electronic devices were not allowed on set in order to prevent photos from being leaked. Read more below.
Isn’t it a bit ironic that at the shoot for a song entitled “Video Phone” there were none allowed on set?
An anonymous source revealed to Life & Style that the newly formed duo was working on the project in a studio in New York City. Apparently, in an effort to keep the press from getting wind of it, everything surrounding the shoot was kept on the low.
Reports also reveal that, as expected, both Lady GaGa and Beyonce dressed to impress for the music video. This comes as no surprise as these two leading ladies have been know to start fashion trends. Both are equipped with a unique flair, so it should be mighty interesting to see how it all turns out.
Director Hype Williams shot the footage somewhere in Brooklyn’s Greenpoint district. Other than that there is little information available about the collaboration, as reps from all sides have declined to comment.
I truly can’t wait for the MTV debut, because with two talented starlets of this caliber, you know it will have to be good. I expect the choreography to be amazing as well!
