So the queen, Queen Latifah that is, has released a new music video featuring Missy Elliott called “Fast Car”. The video is jam packed with special guests like Jadakiss, Angie Martinez of Hot 97, Robin Thicke, Common and much more. Now the song is not something typical of Queen Latifah. In my opinion, the song was more for a group like The Black Eyed Peas but again that’s just my opinion. I’m loving the way Queen Latifah can do different types of music and make it hot! In fact, I don’t know of anyone who doesn’t like Queen Latifah, her music, her acting, her singing or her lifestyle. Queen Latifah is one of the most loved artists out there so it’s only right that we all love what she does.
The video has no problems with showcasing just that. If you pay close attention to the video, certain scenes highlight Queen Latifah’s accomplishments such as her Cover Girl gig, her latest album “Persona” and even some of her movie roles. So if you haven’t been familiar with what the Queen has been up to, the video will definitely show you! I’m just curious to find out how Queen Latifah got Missy Elliott to come out?! I haven’t seen Missy Elliott in a minute! In fact, the last time I’ve seen Missy Elliott was at the recent BET’s Hip Hop Awards where she showed up with a beautiful woman on her arms. How you doin?
