Punk/rock band, Paramore, has released a new music video of their latest single called “Ignorance” today. Watch the official video here and see pics of the band here.
Paramore was formed in the small town of Franklin, TN, when the Farro brothers, Josh (guitar) and Zac (drums) met Hayley Williams, who had just moved from Mississippi. After Williams joined the band, 2 more additions were made. Jason Bynum (rhythm guitar) and Jeremy Davis (bass) completed the group, and the band took the name Paramore.
The band first began performing at clubs in their area as well as at a school talent show. They then moved on to larger scale rock clubs before eventually signing with Florida’s Fueled by Ramen label in April 2005.
Their first album, “All We Know is Falling,” was released in July 2005, and Paramore soon started touring.
In December 2005, Hunter Lamb replaced Jason Bynum on the guitar, but then left the group in 2007 when he married. Paramore pressed forward as a quartet.
The band’s second album, “Riot!,” was released in the summer of 2008 under the band’s new label, Atlantic Records. The album went platinum within thirteen months and Paramore received Grammy Award nomination for Best New Artist.
After the release of the second album, Paramore spent even more time touring, and even toured with Jimmy Eat World. The band also did two songs for the “Twilight” sound track, and produced a live album called “The Final Riot!.”
