Did you ever think that Bob Dylan would be making more albums at the tender age of 68? It has been reported that Dylan is currently working on a Christmas album to be released this winter. The exact release date has not been confirmed. See pics of Bob Dylan and a video here.

It is still unknown whether or not Dylan will throw in some original songs on the album. So far, it’s been reported that Christmas classics such as “Here Comes Santa Claus,” “I’ll Be Home for Christmas,” “O Little Town of Bethlehem,” and “Must Be Santa Claus.”

The Isis magazine website, which is devoted to Bob Dylan first reported rumors of the album. It later announced that Dylan was recording tracks at Jackson Browne’s studio in Santa Monica, California back in May. Billboard magazine later confirmed that the album existed.

Dylan originally came from a Jewish background, but was a Born Again Christian from 1979 – 1981. He’s released a total of three religious themed albums in the past.

In addition to working on his Christmas album, Dylan is currently on tour, called the “Never Ending Tour,” in the United States.
