Chris Brown has made his first on stage appearance since his February ’09 incident with now ex-girlfriend, Rihanna. See pics and watch Chris Brown perform at Lil Wayne’s concert in Virginia here.
Brown, who is a native Virginian, was filling in for Drake, who was forced to sit on the bench after a leg injury. He took over Drake’s vocals during Young Money’s performance, made a brief appearance near the end of Lil Wayne’s America’s Most Wanted concert in Virginia on Sunday.
Brown took the stage and emulated Michael Jackson’s moves while Billie Jean was blasting from the speakers. He even did the moonwalk! Lil Wayne calls Brown “the next Michael”, but I’ll let you be the judge after watching the video of the performance.
After the YouTube wedding dance video sensation, JK Wedding Dance, that was all over the internet last week, Brown saw a bit of an increase in sales lately, and was warmly welcomed on stage at Lil Wayne’s show. Could this be the start of a Chris Brown come back?
In other Chris Brown news, he will be formally sentenced for the Rihanna assult tomorrow, August 5th. He is also scheduled to appear on Larry King Live tomorrow to make yet another apology to Rihanna, and talk about the events that transpired that horrible evening.
