According to TMZ, the legendary King of Pop was rushed to the hospital from his home in Holmby Hills California at approximately 12.12pm Pacific Time on June 25, 2009.
In a later update TMZ reports that Michael Jackson dead.

The legendary singer leaves behind his three children: Michael Joseph Jackson, Jr., Paris Michael Katherine Jackson and Prince “Blanket” Michael Jackson II.
Michael Jackson had been twice inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, won 13 Grammy Awards, and throughout his career has sold more than 750 million singles and albums worldwide. Although he had not toured since 1997 nor released an album of new material since 2001 he was days away from making the comeback performances in London O2 Arena, the highly anticipated This Is It series of concerts.
