Brad Paisley has been celebrating two number one hits at the Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville, Tennessee and getting pranked by Jewell and Chuck Wicks. Read about it below. Also read his biography and see photos and a music video.
Brad Paisley was in Nashville yesterday celebrating two number one singles with the songs writers. The party was organized by ASCAP and BMI. It was in honor of Kelley Lovelace and Lee Thomas Miller who wrote em>’I'm Still a Guy’ and Don Sampson and Wynn Varble who wrote ‘Waitin’ on a Woman’. Both songs were performed by Paisley. Both hits were produced by Frank Rogers.
He almost didn’t make the festivities though. He was arrested when he returned home, to Nashville, from San Antonio after a concert with tour mates, Jewel and Chuck Wicks.
It turns out that Paisley is big on pulling pranks on his tour mates, so they decided to return the favor. It apparently was mostly Jewel who arranged for two retired policemen to meet and arrest Paisley when he arrived home on 42 charges in the states of Texas and Tennessee for ‘ecessive noodling’.
It wasn’t until the cops read the charges that Paisley realized he’d been punk’d. Ha!
