This year’s star-studded event, which was held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Sunday night, was one for the books. The 52nd annual ceremony seemed to go down without a hitch, and it included some incredible performances by some of today’s biggest stars. I really don’t know what to think about this dress. It wasn’t ugly, but I didn’t necessarily like it either. The whole side boob thing was fun, but it’s been done before. I guess the point I’m trying to make is – it wasn’t attractive enough to find beautiful, nor was it shocking enough to find outrageous, it just was what it was.

So, if I were to see this performance at an open mic night at a local pub, I would have been pretty impressed. In fact I would have probably bought them both a beer, well, not Swift, because she is way too young to drink – she gets a Shirley Temple. However, since the duet didn’t take place on a small stage, like an open mic night, but rather on one of the world’s biggest stages, the Grammys, it just wasn’t all that impressive. Especially since Lady Gaga, Beyonce and Pink all nailed their routines.

I for one don’t agree with this decision! This song seems more like an advertisement for a jewelry store than a smash hit. What a shame sham.
