Singer Janet Jackson’s performance this past Monday came to a halt when the singer became sick before showtime. Jackson didn’t make it all the way through soundcheck when she was reportedly rushed to the hospital for an illness that was not disclosed.

Jackson’s rep has released a statement saying Janet “got suddenly ill during her sound check … and had to be rushed to the hospital just before showtime.”

The singer checked out of the Royal Victoria Hospital in Montreal only two hours after her arrival. Jackson is back on her Rock Witchu tour with hopes to reschedule her Montreal show. No news as to what made the artist ill has been released.

Britney Spears is back in the news again. This time for an alleged sex tape made with her ex Adnan Ghalib. See photos and video after the jump.

Just as everything seemed to returning back to normal for popstar Britney Spears it looks like a sex tape could be threatening her comeback! Spears previous relationship with Adnan Ghalib could become a highlight in the media once again with a thing the photographer says he has in his possession.

In a statement about the thing’s actual existence Adnan Ghalib said “There is such a tape. But I won’t discuss prices for hypothetical inquiries. Unless there is a locked-in deal, I will go no further. I am not interested in selling out any other details about Britney.”

The tape is a reported two hours long with Spears sporting nothing but a pink wig. The pair were said to be on vacation in Mexico when the tape was made. A source close to Britney Spears says there is no such tape.

There’s going to be a prequel for Sex and the City and the series creator is hoping that Miley Cyrus will play the younger Carrie Bradshaw! Read more about it and check the photos and video below.

It seems that the Sex and the City creator, Candace Bushnell, is working on a couple of SATC books that would be geared towards young adults. These books are planned to be about a teenage Carrie Bradshaw in a prequel to the character in the series we all know and love. At least if you love fashion and great shoes.

Bushnell is reported to have said that Cyrus would be ‘adorable‘ in the role as a younger Carrie. And Cyrus is reported to have said she’d LOVE to play a ‘younger, cleaner’ Carrie.

Younger, cleaner? Okay, I know what she means, but could get seriously twisted if someone wanted to.

The new books aren’t due out until 2010, so we have some time to mull all this over. The thing is, with Carrie Bradshaw’s fashion forward ways, we have to ask ourselves, can Miley hold her own in 6 inch heels?

Duffy’s overnight fame appears to be taking a toll on her mental health recently. The break-out singer who blossomed from a new artist to a superstar overnight isn’t enjoying the fame and all the attention.

The twenty-four old recently divulged that she’s not doing too well. “I’m borderline on a nervous breakdown. I’m never calm any more. I think: Can I handle this? Do I want to disappear?”

Not good news for the Welsh singer. She also went on to say “I thought I was superhuman. But there are pressures about being in the public eye.” Hopefully things get better for the singer.

Mindy McCready will be turning herself in tomorrow to serve her time in jail. Get the details with photos and video after the jump.

Country singer, Mindy McCready, is ready to pay her debt to society a second time around. The thirty-two year old will be turning herself in to police tomorrow in Franklin, Tennessee. This coming after McCready was charged back in June for illegally fudging her community service records.

“I am working very hard to put all of this behind me as quickly as possible so I can get back to what I like to do most: sing, write songs, and entertain,” McCready said in a statement.

The community service stems back to a 2004 drug charge. McCready is expected to serve 60 days in jail. When she does finally fulfill her obligation the mother of one says she hopes to turn her life around and regain custody of her son. She also has plans to put her music career back on track.

Actress and singer, Scarlett Johansson, has officially tied the knot with Ryan Reynolds. The famous couple have been dating since 2007. They married this past Saturday in a small and private ceremony in Canada.

“We’re just enjoying our time,” the actress said last month. “We’re just recently — very recently — engaged. So, you know, we’re just taking it easy. And no big plan yet. But it’s a good time and we’re just … enjoying our time to be young and engaged. I mean, I’m 23. There’s no reason to rush into it. Everything feels very natural and relaxed,” said Johannson after her engagement.

Reynolds, who was formerly engaged to Alanis Morissette, popped the question just four months ago to Scarlett. Johansson accepted even after her many interviews were she said she doesn’t believe in magonomy.

Robin Thicke’s third album, Something Else, is ready to be released. See the cover and listen to the music video below.

Something Else is Robin Thicke’s third album. In the tradition of Marvin Gaye, Rolling Stone writes that plenty of babies will be made to Thicke’s crooning ‘Cry No More’.

Thicke calls the album a cross between “classic Philly, Motown and ’70s black disco meets the creativity of the Beatles and Bob Dylan.”

The album is a follow-up to his platinum release, ‘The Evolution of Robin Thicke’ in 2006. It’ll be in stores on Tuesday, September 30, 2008.

Some of the best tracks include: “Sidestep,” “Magic,” “Loverman,” “Shadow of Doubt” and, of course, “Something Else” which is included below.

Thicke was recently interviewed about rumors that he was upset with Vibe for not putting him on their magazine cover. The rumor was that it was because of the color of his skin. He denies that he felt any animosity at all and credited the magazine with doing a lot to help his career. He’s quick to put those rumors to rest.

Amy Winehouse’s troubled hubby has said no to rehab again! Blake Fielder Civil has reportedly been offered early release from the clink if he goes to rehab. Fielder has declined the offer in an effort to stay close to Amy. The deal would also force Blake to live with his mother in Nottinghamshire while sporting an electronic tag!

A source close to the couple recently told the Sun “All he wants is a free reign when he leaves, which means living with Amy back in Camden. But if he is turning down these chances to leave jail and get clean, it doesn’t bode well for him and Amy when he finally does get out.”
