Singer/Actor Scarlett Johansson is about to release her second studio album, titled “Break Up,” this fall. Find more information about the album, as well as pics and a music video here.

Motown Records has approached Mark Hoppus, of Blink-182, about doing a remix of the Jackson 5’s hit song, “ABC.” Read more about the rest of the remix album plus photos and a video here.
Hoppus told MTV that Motown has contacted several different artists/groups about doing a tribute-like album that will be released in iTunes. The album is expected to have about 15 tracks of Michael Jackson and Jackson 5 remixes.

Today marks the 40th anniversary of the Beatles’ hit album, Abbey Road. It was the last album the group was able to record together. See pics of the celebration as well as an Abbey Road tribute video here.
Hundreds of people gathered on Abbey Road today, singing songs and getting in the way of traffic to commemorate the 40th anniversary of John, Paul, George, and Ringo’s last album. The famous album cover shows the four crossing the zebra striped road one after the other.

After evading jail time by reaching a plea bargain, Chris Brown was supposed to be formally sentenced for assaulting Rihanna today. It has been reported that the sentencing has been delayed. Superior Court Judge Patricia Schnegg has decided to postpone the sentencing of Chris Brown until August 27th. Brown waited in the courtroom while the judge met with the prosecutor and defense attorney to discuss the situation. Schnegg stated that she is still waiting on Virginia to confirm whether or not they can accommodate her request to mandate Brown to perform community labor rather than community service.

Brown, who is a native Virginian, was filling in for Drake, who was forced to sit on the bench after a leg injury. He took over Drake’s vocals during Young Money’s performance, made a brief appearance near the end of Lil Wayne’s America’s Most Wanted concert in Virginia on Sunday.

While plans to take the Who on tour were still up in the air, Daltrey decided to do a solo tour while he was waiting. Roger states that he likes doing solo tours to keep his voice in shape. Due to the current state of the economy, he wanted to give the audience an intimate show, although most of the venues are not exactly small.
